Finally, NASA gave the expected news. It has made significant progress in resolving technical problems with the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, it announced Wednesday. He also stated that he is planning the first crewed test flight in April. Here are the details…

With the development of technology, space studies have accelerated. Thus, the curtain of the mystery of space is revealed. The space agency wants to use the Boeing-made Starliner capsule for manned flights to and from the International Space Station (ISS). In this way, it plans to use this capsule as a second option alongside SpaceX’s tried and tested Crew Dragon capsule.

However, Starliner has been a very challenging spacecraft for NASA. The test flight in 2019 turned out to be a fiasco. The test failed due to many problems. Then he prepared for the 2nd test for 3 days. Thanks to the 2nd test flight, it managed to reach the ISS. However, some problems continued. Unfortunately, this caused NASA to postpone the first crewed flight using Starliner. Work continued without slowing down.

NASA conducted some tests earlier this month to confirm recent changes to the spacecraft’s parachute system. NASA and Boeing are currently conducting final analysis of the test data. Additionally, NASA said it aims to complete overall system certification. It is completing the final preparations for the crewed flight that will take two astronauts to the space station.

NASA said it conducted a two-day dress rehearsal of several operations, including a landing-landing entry and crew recovery, with the recovery team at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

When all these preparations are completed, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams will fly to the ISS with the Starliner. They will live and work here with other ISS crew for up to two weeks. Then they will return with the Starliner spacecraft.
